When validation feels like agreeing (it isn't)
Validation acknowledges that a feeling makes sense given the moment. It is not approval, and it is not surrender. Here is how to tell the difference in real conversations.

Choose your pathway
Some families want scripture at the center of this work. Others don't. Both are welcome here — pick what fits your home.
We ground DBT skills in Christian faith — praying together when you'd like, and holding grace, forgiveness, and steadfast love alongside practical tools. This is the pathway Jennifer walked with her own family.

About
Jennifer Napoli
Founder & Parent Coach
As both a parent and a daughter of loved ones living with borderline personality disorder, I spent decades asking the question so many families ask quietly: why does our family struggle so deeply while others seem to thrive? By the time I recognized BPD in my own home, my daughter was 12 and already deeply affected. Much of the advice I found urged families to walk away. I knew love doesn’t give up — and neither would I.
Guided by my Christian faith, I found DBT skills that transformed not only how I responded to my loved ones, but how our relationships could begin to heal. Since 2017 I have been teaching these evidence-based skills and coaching families to communicate with compassion, establish healthy boundaries, reduce conflict, and rediscover hope.
My passion is helping families move from confusion and crisis to connection, resilience, and the belief that healing is possible — even in the most difficult relationships.
Family stories
“For the first time in years, we made it through a whole week without a blow-up. The scripts gave me something to hold onto.”
“I stopped walking on eggshells. Learning to validate without giving in changed our house completely.”
“Jennifer understands this from the inside. She never once made me feel like I had failed my daughter.”

Questions
No. Coaching is skills-based education and support for parents and caregivers. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and it works beautifully alongside your family's therapy team.
